Hi, I am Thomas Patrick Squire II hailing from our Nations Capital (Washington DC). My passion for food began in the 5th or 6th grade staying home sick from school and being fascinated by the power or a home cooked meal and the Price is Right. My mom would make cheese eggs, grits, buttermilk pancakes and homemade applesauce. I was in HEAVEN!
From there exploring new menu items and food choices is something I was always encouraged to do to the point I realized I am now inspired to try my hand at these dishes and make some changes myself.
Graduated from Coastal Carolina University (Conway, SC) in 2011 with a degree in Communication and a Minor in Journalism and moved back home to lasting words from my mother “I am not cooking for you anymore”. So I was either going to spend all my money on Chipotle and fine dining or I would have to start cooking meals. I chose cooking my own meal and snacks and now after enough encouragement and counsel, I hope to share them with you.
